A table of contents you arrange yourself — before paying

Type a subject and a full outline appears within a minute. Reorder chapters, add your own, drop the ones you do not need. Only then do you decide whether to buy.

Why the outline is free

Because without it you are buying blind. The service description says “a book on your subject”, but it does not say what will be in it — and that is the only thing you actually care about. The model call behind the outline is paid by us, before we receive anything from you. We decided a buyer should know what they are buying, and that it would pay for itself in fewer complaints.

Reorder

Chapters follow the order of the fields in the form. Move what matters more in your case to the front — no justification required.

Add your own chapter

There is an empty field at the bottom of the list. Write a title and two sentences of scope; the author receives them as an instruction.

Drop what you do not need

Clear a chapter's title and save. A shorter book is not a worse book — it is a shorter one, and sometimes that is the point.

Step by step

How editing works

  1. 1

    You describe the subject

One sentence is enough, but the more specific you are — especially about who it is for — the closer the first outline lands to what you had in mind.

  2. 2

    You get a full layout

Title, subtitle and every chapter with a description of its contents. No account, no card, no newsletter sign-up.

  3. 3

    You change what you like

Titles, order, scope, length and voice. The price recalculates on every save and you see it before you click buy.

  4. 4

    You decide

If the outline does not convince you, close the tab and pay nothing. If it does, chapters start being written straight after payment.

In practice

The outline is an instruction to the author, not a list of headings

The chapter description you write goes straight into the instruction for the model, together with the list of the OTHER chapters. That is why each chapter knows what its neighbours cover and does not repeat the same introduction ten times over.

£0

What the outline costs, however many times you rearrange it.

Why it works this way

Competitors show an outline you can look at. That is not the same thing.

A table of contents you cannot change answers “should I buy”, but not “will this be my book”. The difference shows up at the first chapter you do not need and the first one that is missing — and by then you have already paid.

Frequently asked questions

How many times can I change the outline?

As many as you like, right up to payment. Saving and recalculating costs nothing because it does not call the model — rearranging chapters is an operation on your own text, not new generation.

Can I change length and voice after seeing the outline?

Yes, both sit in the options panel beside the chapter list. Changing the length does not regenerate the outline — your chapters stay; what changes is how much is written in each.

What if the outline does not convince me at all?

Close the tab. You have not paid and have no account, so nothing remains except an email address, which we delete after thirty days. You can also enter the subject again, phrased differently — that is often enough.
